The 3 T’s (or Maybe 4…)
Dr. Eric likes to go over handouts with his parents to educate them about how he works and what the scans do. The first one he discusses is the 3 T’s: Trauma, Toxins and Thoughts. Dr. Eric believes we need to add another T for Technology!
These three types of stressors put the body into what he likes to call “gas pedal mode.” Based in the sympathetic nervous system, it triggers the fight or flight response. Its counterpart is “brake pedal mode,” based on the parasympathetic nervous system. This tells your body to rest and digest; grow and develop.
Adjustments tap on the brake pedal, allowing the body to function as it should, and calming down the nervous system.
